Alesha Dixon back for Strictly 2010

It looks like Alesha Dixon will return to Strictly Come Dancing next year.

There has been speculation she might not have time as she is due to start work on a new album, and has hopes of breaking America.

But the BBC says it is looking forward to welcoming her back as a judge, adding: "Alesha has been doing a first class job."

She replaced veteran choreographer Arlene Phillips on the panel, prompting an age row.

Recently there was speculation the singer and Strictly champ may bow out to concentrate on her music.

But the 31-year-old insists she can fit both jobs into her hectic schedule.

It is thought contracts will be signed closer to the beginning of the next series.
