Imaginarium stars on hanging off a bridge

Talk about new movie The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus understandably centres around the tragic death of Heath Ledger and the A-ist cast who replaced him - Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell.

However, fellow cast members Lily Cole and Andrew Garfield say that difficulties on set began before they sadly lost Heath.

They are referring to a two night shoot they did which required Andrew to be strapped to a harness and hang under Blackfriars Bridge with a rain machine lashing down on him.

Andrew said "It was so cold and uncomfortable that I felt like my bones were coming through my skin as the harness was so tight."

However, the actor says while the shoot was tough, he feels very lucky to have had such a unique view of the Thames.

The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is out in cinemas nationwide now.
