Actors Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds were married over the weekend.

A spokesman for the Lost in Translation star declined further comment beyond a confirmation of the marriage.

A celebrity magazine said the wedding took place on September 27 at a wilderness resort outside Vancouver, Canada, and guests included family members.

Reynolds, 31, was born in Vancouver, and he and New Yorker Johansson, 23, have been engaged since May.

She rose to fame as a child actress in movies such as The Horse Whisperer and increased her starpower in films like Match Point and The Black Dahlia.

Reynolds began acting as a teenager, gained notoriety through comic roles in films like Van Wilder, and recently has starred in dramas such as sci-fi mystery The Nines.
