    Two more British soldiers killed

Two more UK soldiers have been killed, in two separate incidents, in Afghanistan.

A soldier from the Light Dragoons was killed in an explosion in Lashkar Gah in central Helmand.

Meanwhile, a soldier from 5th Regiment Royal Artillery died in a blast during a foot patrol in Sangin District.

Lieutenant Colonel Nick Richardson said: "It is with deep regret that we report the death of another two soldiers in Helmand Province. These fine British soldiers paid the ultimate sacrifice and their memory will live with us forever.

We mourn their loss and our thoughts and prayers are with their families and friends at this very sad time."

Earlier, the name of the serviceman killed on Saturday was released. Bombardier Craig Hopson, 24, from Castleford in West Yorkshire, was killed when the Jackal vehicle he was travelling in struck a roadside bomb.
