Schumacher visits Massa in hospital
Michael Schumacher has visited injured Ferrari driver Felipe Massa in a Budapest hospital.
The seven-times champion, who will replace the Brazilian while he recovers from a head injury suffered during qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix, has just begun testing in preparation for his return to Formula One.
Former Ferrari boss Jean Todt, who is standing as a successor to Max Mosley as president of motorsport's world governing body the FIA, also visited Massa.
Dino Altmann, Massa's personal physician, said the Brazilian's recovery was going well and he was due to fly back to Brazil on Monday where he would continue the process.
Altmann declined to predict when Massa could get back to racing but dismissed speculation that he had suffered an eye injury which could slow his return.
"I'm not concerned about the eye, it's okay, it shouldn't be a problem," Altmann said outside the hospital. "I should be more concerned about his brain, not his sight. He's doing very well in all aspects of his recovery."
