Dolly Parton hits Rotherham
Dolly Parton has made her way to Rotherham on the latest stop of her literacy tour.
The Nine to Five singer was in South Yorkshire to open the first branch of her children's Imagination Library.
Despite the rain and the grey skies - she brightened up the old mining town with a touch of her own brand of glamour.
The seven-time Grammy winner also has a new album out next year entitled Backwards Barbie.
She said: "It fits me so well. Its about a country girl like me trying to look like Barbie. That was kind of my dream as a child."
Dolly broke into showbiz at the tender age of nine, singing on American TV. Now 61, with over 40 top ten country albums under her belt, she's showing no signs of slowing down.
