Goody back in the UK for cancer treatment

Jade Goody has broken down in tears after arriving back in the UK following her cancer diagnosis in the Indian Big Brother house.

Goody learned she had the disease in a private phone call from her UK doctor while in the Diary Room of the show, called Bigg Boss.

The mother-of-two flew into London's Heathrow Airport after a seven-hour flight from Mumbai. Looking tired and drained the visibly upset Goody told airport personnel escorting her through the terminal: "I don't want any more, I can't do this."

Goody, wearing a black polo neck, broke down in tears as she was met by a number of photographers and left the airport in a large silver people carrier.

An airport source said: "She seemed OK as she got off the plane, but as she was walking through the terminal she just broke down. She seemed really upset."

She broke the news to her housemates in scenes aired on Indian television. An insider close to the TV production said: "They have been talking to her about how she would like it handled. She was told they wouldn't broadcast anything that she was not happy with."

The insider added: "But Jade said 'let's just deal with this head-on. There are going to be lots of questions and so-on'. The conversation she had with her doctor was entirely private and not recorded."

Of the scenes being aired, the insider said: "Jade came out from that and said to her housemates what she had been told. Everyone was pretty shocked. She was extremely upset. It was clear from that point that she had to leave."

The Indian show features 12 Indian celebrities and is hosted by Shilpa Shetty, 33, the Bollywood star who won the hearts of viewers after being bullied by Goody and other housemates.

The reality TV star has revealed how she went into the Indian Big Brother house to pay the bills - knowing she could have the disease.

Two weeks ago, the TV star was alone in her Essex home when she passed out after collapsing four times in recent months.

Just days before leaving for India and while awaiting test results, Goody spoke of her fears for her two children over her cancer.

Doctors advised her that getting pregnant again could kill her and urged her to have a hysterectomy.

The TV star's contracts dried up following the furore over her alleged racism in Channel 4's Celebrity Big Brother.

Her perfume, Shh..., was taken off the shelves and publishers decided to drop a paperback edition of her autobiography.
