Alien vs Predator sequel fails to impress
A new film which brings together two infamous monsters in a chaotic clash once again has failed to impress critics.
Aliens Vs Predator: Requiem grossed only $9,515,615 (£4.8m) on its opening day in the US, and has been slammed by critics for its script and fight sequences.
The movies tells the story of a Predator scout ship which crashes in the hills outside a US town, releasing Alien facehuggers and a new hybrid.
A man and his son soon become the first victims of the aliens, and when a Predator receives news of the crash, he comes to Earth sparking chaos in the town.
The film is the sequel to 2004's Alien vs Predator.
