Riot police in Bolivia intervened during a soccer match after fans threw rocks at opposing players and supporters.
Fans of the team Ciclon hurled rocks and whatever else they could find at the opposing team after they scored a goal late in the game, tying the score at 1-1.
Wilstermann, the visiting team from Cochabamba which was defending its place in Bolivia's highest division, celebrated their late goal as outraged Ciclon fans protested.
The fans began hurling rocks and other projectiles at the visiting team, hitting goalkeeper Dennis Cartagena who fell to the ground with blood on his face.
Riot police were called in as the mob knocked down a fence separating them from the field.
