Felipe Massa will be on pole position for the Turkish Grand Prix.

The Ferrari driver has won the last two races in Istanbul and he is on course for a hat-trick after pipping the McLaren pair Heikki Kovalainen and Lewis Hamilton in qualifying.

Massa said: "It was a great qualifying as I put together a very good lap at the end.

"I'm just so happy, my third time here with Ferrari, and the third time on pole. I hope I can repeat the wins."

Hamilton beat world champion Kimi Raikkonen to third place on the grid.

David Coulthard will start the race in tenth place for Red Bull and Jenson Button in 13th for Honda.

Hamilton said: "I still think we've a good package. Heikki and I have shown we are up there with the Ferraris, and I think we can match them in the race."
