World records book launched
The smallest man, the woman with the longest legs and the woman with the most cosmetic surgery all feature in the Guinness Book of World Records 2009.
He Pingping, a 20-year-old from Mongolia, is just 2ft 5.37in tall and only just reaches the knees of Russian, Svetlana Pankratova, whose legs alone are almost twice his height at 4ft 3.9in
The two record holders met in Trafalgar Square, central London, at the launch of the 2009 edition of the Guinness World Records book, which is set to be published on Wednesday.
Ms Pankratova, from Volgograd, said: "Well actually it's great for me to realise that I am the queen of the longest legs. I'm the longest on the planet. It just feels good. Actually I'm proud of it."
Other entries in the book include the woman who has undergone the most cosmetic surgery - over 50 procedures - and a man who can tow a double-decker bus with his ears.
