One proud dad has set out to make sure his children have plenty of family snaps to look back on.

Manesh Bansal is taking photographs of his son and daughter every day to create a unique record of them as they grow up.

Daughter Suman will pose for the camera for the 4,748th time on Saturday when she celebrates her 13th birthday alongside brother Jay, 10.

Mr Bansal says he knows he will not be able to snap the children forever but is determined to keep shooting them until they leave home.

He said he wanted to give them a "different" kind of legacy than most parents.
