Singer Beyoncé made a grooming faux-pas as she unveiled her new film Cadillac Records in the US.

The bootylicious star turned up with hubby Jay-Z to the premiere of the Etta James biopic in New York with some rather unsightly fuzz sprouting from her underarm.

As she waved at fans, one stunned observer said: "Beyoncé always looks her best at these kind of events. She obviously either ran out of razors or just 'missed a bit' in the bathroom."

Julia Roberts was chastised for her armpit malfunction at the premiere of Notting Hill in 1999.
