The BBC's annual Children in Need show featuring a host of stars has raised £20.3 million.
Performers from EastEnders, The Bill and The One Show were among those on the seven-hour telethon, hosted by Sir Terry Wogan, Alesha Dixon and Tess Daly.
Peter Kay launched the official single, featuring dozens of children's TV characters, while dance group Diversity spiced up a routine by the BBC newsreaders.
There were also performances from other acts including Peter Andre, Stereophonics and Alison Moyet.
Bringing the 30th Children in Need appeal to a close, Wogan urged Britons to help beat last year's record-breaking £38 million total, more than £21 million was raised on the night.
This year's total has fallen just short of the figure raised at the same point last year.
The veteran broadcaster said: "By the time we give you the full total in a couple of months' time I bet it's got to be pretty close to what we made last year."
