Employees at a South Korean theme park are competing for festive honours at Santa school.

The students gathered at Everland Park, about an hour's drive south of Seoul, to master their Santa moves.

The 30 male and female Santa students were trained to perfect their "ho ho ho" laugh, taught to ice skate and say Merry Christmas.

Christmas is one of the major holidays celebrated in South Korea, which is home to one of Asia's largest Christian populations.

At the end of the course the students were each given a graduation diploma, and they threw up their Santa hats in celebration.
