Climate change campaigners have set up outside Berlin's Brandenburg Gate wearing superhero costumes.

To get the attention of politicians meeting in Washington next week, the campaigners wore Barrack Obama and Angela Merkel masks.

The campaigners are wanting the US President and German Chancellor to highlight climate change policies when they meet.

The 'superheroes' want the two leaders to sign a treaty that would commit to limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees.

They also called on Ms Merkel to resume her role as Europe's climate change super hero.

The Chancellor travels to Washington DC for her fourth meeting with Mr Obama since he took his post in January.
