The lead singer of metal outfit Staind has revealed he enjoys listening to some unusual music.

The Massachusetts rockers have been touring Europe in support of their latest album The Illusion of Progress, a multi-platinum selling album in the US.

Frontman Aaron Lewis, a father-of-three, admits he has had to change his choice of listening material since having children.

He said: "I tend to be listening to Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers and things like that more often than I do anything that I want to listen to."

Although not an obvious fan of the Disney Channel favourites, Lewis admitted: "Sometimes it takes me a while to change the channel."

Lewis will be returning to the US for more tour dates with the band at the end of the month as well as performing alone ahead of a solo album.
