Rhydian Roberts says he and Dannii get on great X Factor star Rhydian Roberts says he has stayed in touch with his former mentor Dannii Minogue.

''We get on like a house on fire'' he said.

The pair are so close that classical singer Rhydian even texts Dannii feedback on her performance as a judge each week .

He reckons that everyone who is on the TV wants to know what people think, ''the problem is when you reach a certain level not many people give you feedback. Ithink she appreciates honesty.''

Rhydian's new album O Fortuna is out on November 30.
