How many MPs does it take to change a lightbulb?
A ten point memo issuing rules and regulations to change a lightbulb in the House Of Commons has been slammed.
The memo, issued by LibDem MP Nick Harvey, was roundly rapped by tax payers organisations.
According to the memo, MPs must wear a protective mask and follow the rules accordingly.
Matthew Sinclair, a spokesman for the TaxPayers' Alliance, slammed the 10 point plan.
He said: "Its absolutely absurd. We've got billions at stake in Northern Rock, people's personal data being lost left, right and centre and our politicians are concerned about light bulb breakage."
But Mr Harvey insists it wasn't his idea and he was just acting as a spokesman for the House Of Commons Commission.
