Celtic midfielder Barry Robson has been ruled out of Scotland's friendly against Argentina.

Robson complained of a groin injury during training and he will not feature in the match at Hampden Park.

Scotland manager George Burley has decided not to take any risks because World Cup qualification is not at stake.

Seven players have now pulled out of the Scotland squad for the Argentina fixture.

Goalkeeper Craig Gordon, Kenny Miller, Darren Fletcher, Steven Fletcher, James Morrison and Ross McCormack all withdrew before Robson was ruled out.

Aberdeen striker Lee Miller and Dundee United midfielder Scott Robertson are the only players called up as replacements.
