Hain donors sought for questioning
Donors to Peter Hain's Labour Party deputy leadership campaign are being contacted by police who want to interview them.
Mr Hain resigned last month as Work and Pensions Secretary.
He stepped down after the Electoral Commission asked police to investigate donations of £103,000 made during last summer's deputy leadership campaign.
The Metropolitan Police have contacted the GMB union, which donated around £15,000 to Mr Hain, asking to interview an "appropriate person".
The union promised full co-operation and said general secretary Paul Kenny would be willing to be interviewed.
