Dancing on Ice's Suzanne Shaw has taken to the London stage for her first performance as Roxie Hart in Chicago.

Hollyoaks star Chris Fountain, Gareth Gates, Clare Buckfield and Strictly Come Dancing's Anton Du Beke were all in the audience to support her.

Shaw follows in the footsteps of Denise Van Outen, Ashlee Simpson and Brooke Shields who have all taken on the role.

She is no stranger to musical theatre, having previously starred in Summer Holiday and The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Chicago follows the story of showgirl Roxie, who is accused of murder and employs suave lawyer Billy Flynn to take on her case.

Shaw is scheduled to play Roxie for the next six weeks.
