Kessler is the king in Berlin

Denmark's Mikkel Kessler has knocked out Germany's Danilo Haeussler in the third round to retain his WBA super-middleweight title.

Kessler, 29, dominated the fight and caused damage to Haeussler's left eye in the second round before ending the contest in the third with a left hook.

Kessler lost his WBA and WBC titles on points to Britain's Joe Calzaghe last November but won back the vacant WBA belt with a 12th round knockout of Kazakhstan's Dimitri Sartison in June.

The Viking Warrior, took his record to 41 victories and one defeat with 31 knockouts on Saturday while Haeussler is 29-4 with one draw.
