Wales beat Australia in Cardiff
Wales have beaten Australia to secure the only victory by a northern hemisphere team over a Tri-Nations side this year.
The Millennium Stadium was treated to a 21-18 win by the home side which included fine tries from Shane Williams and Lee Byrne.
The Wallabies also went over twice, with the difference between the teams being a penalty by flyhalf Stephen Jones, who booted 11 points.
Williams showed his class with the opening try inside four minutes and handed the Dragons a deserved 15-10 interval lead with his part in Byrne's touchdown.
Mark Chisholm and Digby Ioane touched down for the Wallabies and flyhalf Matt Giteau added eight points with a penalty, drop goal and conversion.
