Real Madrid have blocked any chance of Robinho joining Chelsea, according to the player's agent.

The Premier League club recently confirmed they have held talks with Real about signing Robinho.

But his representative Wagner Ribeiro claims the Spanish giants have refused to discuss the move.

Ribeiro said: "The dream of Chelsea is broken because Real Madrid will not even negotiate. It is impossible to advance any conversation.

"Next summer we will sort out the situation if people can show some sense."

Real have always insisted they planned to keep Robinho, who moved to Spain from his native Brazil in 2005.
