Man held over 1995 murder

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a woman found battered at the side of a railway line more than 14 years ago.
The 34-year-old man is in custody and Thames Valley Police detectives are questioning him about the murder of Vikki Thompson in August 1995.
Ms Thompson's body was discovered at the side of a railway line in Ascott-under-Wychwood, Oxfordshire.
The man was arrested on Wednesday morning in the same village.
