Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has arrived in Barcelona ahead of his signing for the European champions.

Inter Milan have agreed to swap Ibrahimovic for Barca's Cameroon forward Samuel Eto'o plus a reported fee of around £35 million.

Belarus midfielder Aleksandr Hleb is also set to join the Italian club on loan as part of the deal.

Ibrahimovic looks set to join Thierry Henry and Lionel Messi in Barca's attack as the Catalans prepare to defend their Spanish league and cup titles and their European Champions League crown.

The signing comes after arch rivals Real Madrid have spent millions reinforcing their squad, buying Portuguese winger Cristiano Ronaldo, Brazilian playmaker Kaka and French striker Karim Benzema.
