Ice Cube to join the A-Team?

Ice Cube has confirmed he's in talks to star in a Hollywood version of the classic Eighties show the A-Team.

Although he admitted nothing's set in stone, he said: "I'm ready to play Mr T, BA Baracus, so when they call me and tell me everything's alright then I'm ready."

The rapper is no stranger to the big screen - he made his film debut in John Singleton's Boyz n the Hood and has since directed and starred in a number of major flicks, including 2005's xXx: State of the Union, alongside Samuel L Jackson.

Formally a member of the controversial rap group NWA, Ice Cube went solo in 1990 with his debut album, Amerikkka's Most Wanted.

He recently released his ninth album, Raw Footage, on his own independent label Lench Mob Records.
