Girls Aloud dish out X Factor advice
Girls Aloud have been dishing out advice to X Factor finalists on how to cope with the pressure of singing live in front of the judges.
The Girls say their top tip is don't get nervous and Nicola explained why the hopefuls should try to keep their jitters at bay.
"If you watch it back and you're nervous you'll just hate it even more," she said.
One X Factor singer who might benefit from the advice is Leon Jackson who is in the 14-24 boys category that Dannii Minogue mentors.
He said: "Every other time that we've been stood up, getting the verdict, my whole body just trembles, because my fate lies in their hands and it could all just crash away for you at any instant."
The Girls, who won talent show Popstars: The Rivals understand the pressure of singing live on TV and being judged.
Kimberley said: "It's a really unnatural situation to sing in, being judged by people sat right there. You never know how you're going to react to that but I just say do what you do and zone everything else out. Look down that camera and ignore everything else."
Girls Aloud will make a guest appearance on the show to sing their new single.
