The wannabe Nancys from audition show I'd Do Anything got a taste of the red carpet at the premiere of George Clooney's latest film.

Francesca Jackson, 24, and Jessie Buckley, 18, are battling with each other to win the part of Nancy in the forthcoming West End production of Oliver!

They rubbed shoulders with the Hollywood heart-throb and his co-star Renee Zellwegger in Leicester Square as they get used to being recognised by fans.

Jessie, who hails from Co Kerry in Ireland, said: "It's such an experience. And we're just learning so much the whole time and we get to go on the red carpet, I mean, hello!

"It's just... I just can't explain. It's been an absolutely mind-blowing experience."
