Rihanna: 'I hope I find love one day' Nine months after she was left bloodied and bruised by Chris Brown, Rihanna says she is ready to move on and find love again.

In February the former couple got into a violent argument just before The Grammy Awards. Court proceedings followed and singer Brown was sentenced to five years probation and six months of community service for assaulting the fellow star.

Rihanna opened up for the first time on the subject in an interview with Diane Sawyer on ABC's Good Morning America.

Explaining why she decided to finally speak about the attack she said: "I just wanted to tell my story, so people can get inspired by it. But also so people could move on from it. That was the last big thing that people heard of me, so I just wanted to get that out the way so I can move on with music."

Rihanna is releasing her fourth album 'Rated R' and new single 'Russian Roulette' seems to hint at her emotional breakup.

She described the track as: "About being in a relationship and getting hurt in the end, which is kind of the same feeling you go through playing Russian Roulette."

It is destined due to be a huge success after her collaboration with Jay-Z and Kanye West, Run This Town, went to number one.

It seems the star is also ready to move on in her personal life.

Rihanna added: "I don't like to judge people from a stereotype and say all men are horrible. Good men exist and real love exists and hopefully I'll find it one day."
