A bit of a squash
More than 400,000 pumpkins have gone on show at the world's biggest event dedicated to the squash.
Growers at the fair in Ludwigsburg, Germany, have sculpted their prize pumpkins into spectacular displays.
The exhibition is expecting to get 150 visitors a day for the next nine weeks.
The end of the show in October will be marked by a weigh-in, and the the proud producer of the heaviest pumpkin will go on to compete in a Europe-wide competition.
