The Take That boys were not too impressed with Britney's X Factor miming, but the stars of the show loved it.

Britney has landed herself in some major stick for not singing on a show which critiques the contestants on their vocal ability.

Simon Cowell said she was terrific, very professional, and had huge star quality.

Marvin from JLS enjoyed Britney's performance too: "It was amazing being in the same room as Britney Spears, you know. It's just incredible to be on the same stage as people like her. And I thought her performance was very good."

Despite Britney's three-minute performance being widely panned, she set an X Factor record.

Nearly 13 million people tuned in to see her perform her new single, Womanizer - the show's highest ratings.
