Tamer Hassan loves being a leading man

After small parts in The Calcium Kid, The Football Factory and Layer Cake, Tamer Hassan is over the moon about landing his first lead role.

He plays Nick in crime thriller Dead Man Running.

The British actor joked "I was born for this".

He did feel the pressure though, addding: "It was a lot more nerve wracking being an executive producer and asking footballers like Rio Ferdinand for their money".

The Manchester United player and Chelsea footballer Ashley Cole helped to finance the feature.

As well as Tamer, Dead Man Running stars Danny Dyer.

The pair, have to find £100,000 to pay off a loan shark in the movie.

Rapper 50 Cent plays the debt collector.

But after working as a double act in this film, Tamer revealed he is hoping to team up with Danny again in a sequel to The Business.
