Celebrity reaction to BBC prank

Celebrities have been reacting to the row over the Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross prank phonecall affair.

Davina McCall of Big Brother fame said: "It's ridiculous. Russell Brand will be back, don't worry. We haven't seen the last of him."

Catherine Tate said: "I just think it's been overblown and I'm not getting into it."

But Paul O'Grady weighed in with his thoughts.

He said that two comics in a room is too much temptation for mischief, but went on to say: "It should have been edited out really. It wasn't a live show, and it should have been edited out."

Simon Cowell had the final word: "I think enough's been said on that."

Brand has resigned from his BBC Radio 2 job and Ross is still to learn his fate, as the BBC Trust meet to discuss the pre-recorded call to actor Andrew Sachs.
