Toy Fair banishes recession gloom

The country may be in the middle of a recession but one builder who is not suffering from the downturn in the property market is Bob.

The Annual Toy Fair is currently being held in London with high-tech toys making an appearance for the first time as well as come classics.

Marko Ilincic, managing director for Lego, said sales are good, despite the current economic climate.

"I think what we've noticed is a massive resurgence of classic toys. Last year Lego alone grew 51 per cent and it is not just Lego, it is a lot of classic brands. For example the Rubik's cube is coming back phenomenally," he said.
