Sex and the City sequel confirmed
Sarah Jessica Parker will be reunited with her Sex and the City co-stars for a sequel to last year's hit movie.
Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis have signed up along with writer-director Michael Patrick King for the latest film of the award-winning TV show, New Line Cinema spokeswoman Candice McDonough confirmed.
Some reports have claimed Britney Spears could star as the cousin of Carrie Bradshaw, played by Parker.
The movie is set to be released by Warner Bros in summer 2010.
In a statement, King said he was "very excited to work with these amazing actresses again".
Sex and the City: The Movie grossed almost £40 million in its opening weekend in the US while the DVD sold more than 920,000 copies in its opening week in the UK.
