England to fly home from India

The England cricket team is due to fly home after the militant attacks in Mumbai.

England and Wales Cricket Board managing director Hugh Morris said: "The home environment is the place where we should be for a few days."

He said England planned to return for the two-test series next month.

England are due to play two Tests from December 11 with the second match scheduled in Mumbai from Dec. 19.

Earlier, Indian cricket board vice-president Lalit Modi said the test matches would definitely go ahead but the Mumbai match would be moved.

The team had already postponed its final one-day matches against India over fears for players' safety after the attacks which killed at least 104 people and injured hundreds more.
