Paltrow dubs lewd joke 'hilarious'
Gwyneth Paltrow says a lewd joke made by Jonathan Ross about her was "hilarious", although her father-in-law was unamused.
An episode of Friday Night with Jonathan Ross heard the recently-banned TV host make a crude remark about the actress.
Asked in an interview if she found the remark offensive or hilarious, Paltrow said: "Hilarious to me. Very offensive to my father-in-law."
Paltrow's father-in-law is Anthony Martin, father of Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
Last November, the BBC Trust condemned the edition of the show over Ross's remark.
The actress also claims to be "less square than people think" and says she likes a drink but gave up smoking after her father, Bruce Paltrow, died in 2002 of oral cancer.
Paltrow said she never wished to put her children through what she witnessed with her own father as he battled the disease.
