Pegg's new film premieres in London
Simon Pegg has hit the red carpet for the UK premiere of How to Lose Friends and Alienate People.
He was joined by a heavily-pregnant Gillian Anderson, who stars alongside him in the romantic comedy.
The film is based on the best-selling book of the same name by British journalist Toby Young and chronicles his time spent working at New York's Vanity Fair magazine.
Pegg plays Young, whose vulgar personality earns him no friends in the city.
Spiderman actress Kirsten Dunst, who did not attend the premiere, also stars in the film as Young's love interest.
Pegg said of working in New York: "I didn't feel like a fish out of water. They are very welcoming over there and there's very little cynicism which is very nice. Americans get a big kick out of British humour."
How to Lose Friends and Alienate People is out in UK cinemas October 3.
