Didier Drogba wants to extend his excellent record of scoring in Chelsea's cup finals when they face Tottenham in the Carling Cup final at Wembley.

Drogba scored Chelsea's second goal when they beat Liverpool in the 2005 Carling Cup final and he scored both goals in last season's victory over Arsenal in the final of the same competition.

"I want to score in the final again" - Didier Drogba

Last season, he also scored the extra-time winner in the FA Cup Final against Manchester United and he wants to extend that streak.

Drogba said:"I want to score in the final again. I have scored in all finals Chelsea have played so far.

"I am a big game player and I have scored against the big three in finals.

"I want to do it against the team who is close to the big four (Tottenham). It will be a great final."

Drogba could be asked to play alongside Nicolas Anelka for the first time and he is convinced they can form a successful partnership.

He added: "He is a top player. I speak French like him and I think we can play together.

"If we click as we all expect, we will be very dangerous for the remaining of the season. My club has a lot to play for. We are still in four competitions."

Drogba also admitted Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov will pose a threat.

He said: "I respect Spurs," Drogba added. "They have a world class player in Berbatov. I am a big fan of his and he is so skillful.

"His technique is there with Zinedine Zidane, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ronaldinho and Thierry Henry."
