London blaze kills one

A fire in a block of flats in London has left one person dead.
A Yard spokeswoman said the blaze occurred in Eric Street, Bow, east London.
Thirty flats were evacuated because of the incident, with residents taken to nearby Mile End Stadium
She said emergency services were called at 3.15am and one person was pronounced dead at the scene.
