Skydiver plunges to his death
The death of a skydiver who plunged 10,000ft to the ground is being investigated by police.
The victim has been named by police as Christopher Peak from west Hull.
The 23-year-old died after his parachute failed to deploy over East Yorkshire. He was discovered in a field on Wednesday afternoon.
Detective Inspector Gerry Darling said there appeared to be no suspicious circumstances at this stage.
He added: "Our thoughts are with the young man's family and friends."
The area where he died has been sealed off and is being examined by officers. The plane used in the jump and the victim's car have all been seized as part of the investigation.
Mr Peak is described as an "experienced" parachutist and was jumping with a club from Bridlington when the tragedy happened.
A number of witnesses have already come forward and video footage from another jump has also been seized.
