Goalkeeper setback for Bolton

Goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen will miss the remainder of Bolton's season with a back problem, manager Gary Megson has confirmed.

The 32-year-old Finland international was out for Wanderers' Barclays Premier League defeat by Wigan at the JJB Stadium on Sunday.

Oman goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi has taken over from Jaaskelainen and played in the 1-0 defeat

And Megson also has the experienced Ian Walker at his disposal.

Megson said: "He needs six weeks of rest to try and resolve this problem, and he is going to need some form of surgery.

"Either way, his season is over."
