Willis is back in Die Hard
After 12 long years Bruce Willis is back as wisecracking John McClane in Die Hard 4.0.
Once again the rugged hero finds himself in the wrong place at the wrong time, but despite his age his fighting skills, including using a car to bring down a helicopter, don't let him down as he battles to save the US.
The 52-year-old star did about 80 per cent of the stunts himself and despite picking up a few injures the action hero confirmed at the London premiere that he's ok, saying: "I'm happy to tell you I'm fine."
The main bad guy in the movie is Thomas Gabriel, played by Timothy Olyphant, who is hell bent on wrecking the entire US computer infrastructure, but that apparently doesn't make his character a geek.
Olyphant said: "I appreciate you're hesitating to say the word. I'm a little offended by it. I sort of thought of him as the misunderstood hero."
Joining him on his mission to beat McClane and destroy the US is Mai, a kung fu master played by Maggie Q. She's done a whole lot of action movies and is pretty talented at hand to hand combat, giving Bruce a real run for his money.
But could she beat him in real life? She said: "That would depend on the situation. I don't know. I like to pretend that would be me, but it probably wouldn't."
You can see Willis trying to save the day on July 4th.
