Injury concern over Vaughan
Michael Vaughan is expected to be named in the England squad for the first Test against South Africa despite a knee injury.
The England captain has had four operations on his right knee and he needed ice-pack treatment during Yorkshire's County Championship match against Durham at Headingley.
But Yorkshire's director of cricket Martyn Moxon believes he will be available to play for England.
Moxon said: "It is difficult for me to say too much, but Michael has a few aches and pains.
"His knee is a little bit sore. But there is no danger of him missing the Test match, and he will explain things more fully on Friday.
"I think Michael is in great touch, and there is no reason to believe he will not make runs for England."
