Fuel strikers get pay deal

A deal to resolve the fuel tanker drivers' pay dispute has been agreed, the Unite union announced.
The breakthrough came at the end of all-day talks between Unite leaders and managers from haulage firms Hoyer and Suckling Transport.
Hundreds of drivers went on strike for four days, leading to fuel shortages across the country, mainly at Shell garages

The union had warned of further strikes this weekend, but that threat has now been averted.
A spokesman for the union said they would not discuss the details of the pay settlement.
