Updated 19.09 Sat Jun 14 2008
A last-gasp strike from David Villa has put Spain on course for a place in the Euro 2008 quarter-finals.
Spain took the lead against Group D rivals Sweden in the 15th minute when Fernando Torres stabbed home a David Silva cross.
Villa struck deep into stoppage time with a close range finish to net his fourth goal of the tournament
Sweden came back in the 34th minute, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic netting from close range, and a draw was very much on the cards in a scrappy match that produced few chances.
But Villa struck deep in stoppage time with a close range finish to net his fourth goal of the tournament.
Spain lead the group with six points, ahead of Sweden on three.
Greece and Russia, both with no points so far, meet in Salzburg later.
