More than 1,000 shoppers have flocked to get their hands on Kate Moss's Topshop collection after her new range was unveiled at a special launch in London.

The event kicked off at Oxford Street's flagship store at 8pm.

The Croydon-born supermodel was reportedly paid £3 million to create the fashion range

The supermodel posed alongside mannequins wearing a red dress she designed herself before the doors opened.

The collection launches in 225 stores nationwide on Tuesday morning. The Croydon-born supermodel was reportedly paid £3 million to create the fashion range.

But the collection has already been criticised in the US, with one newspaper describing the designs as: ".. like Kate copying a lot of other people's stuff Kate's worn before."

A high summer collection of Kate Moss designs will follow at Topshop stores in June.
