The Queen has found herself engulfed in row about the sale of photos from Peter Phillips' wedding to Autumn Kelly.

According to some reports, the Queen was not consulted in advance about the £500,000 deal between Hello! magazine and her grandson, who is 11th in line to the throne, and his Canadian bride.

MPs have slammed the deal and likened it to something a footballer and his WAG would have brokered

However, Buckingham Palace officials are now said to be concerned they may have surrendered the right to privacy after Hello! published 59 pages of "exclusive" snaps, including ones of the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Prince of Wales as well as Prince Williams' girlfriend Kate Middleton and Prince Harry's partner Chelsy Davy.

The magazine also features a group shot of the Royal Family at the wedding reception in Frogmore House in Windsor Great Park.

MPs have slammed the deal and likened it to something a footballer and his WAG would have brokered.

Norwich North MP Ian Gibson said: "The British public would expect the Queen to rise above being pictured in the pages of Hello! She is the Queen, not a footballer's wife."
